HOW DID TEDDYFELD COME TO BE?

  • I've always been obsessed with stuffies! As a kid, I even had a whole herd that I lugged around with me absolutely everywhere: to nursery school, on holiday or on school trips – I needed my cuddly friends by my side.
  • I'm very fortunate in that my mum and both of my grandmothers are amazing sewists. They taught me my first simple stitches before I even started school. The first stuffy – if you can call it that – I ever made by myself was this magnificent creature. I lovingly named him "The Pink Blob" and gifted him to my mum. Blobby is still alive and well today, but has since moved into a box in the attic.
  • Then came "Nino Dino". I really wanted to turn my favourite dress, which no longer fit me, into a dinosaur stuffy. And he definitely had to have patches and a side pocket! My dad helped me design the pattern and my mum showed me how to use a sewing machine. The result was my little blue buddy for life. :) I loved (and still love) him dearly and pretty much refused to go anywhere without him.
  • My family were my biggest sewing cheerleaders when I was little and they still inspire my stuffy making today. TEDDYFELD was born when I wanted to give my sister a special present for her graduation. Let me introduce to you: Astrid, the Academia Bear – the very first TEDDYFELD friend!

    WHAT MAKES TEDDYFELD SO DIFFERENT:

      Every TEDDYFELD soft toy is sewn by hand with a lot of love and care. Double stitching guarantees a high quality standard and a long soft toy life. Teddyfeld animals are manufactured in accordance with EU toy safety guidelines

    • UNIQUENESS:


      Each animal is unique and handmade. I am happy to customize your order or use fabrics that you send me. A soft toy made from grandpa's shirt or a much-loved baby blanket is a very special cuddly friend or a unique gift!

    • SUSTAINABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY:


      I mainly use fabrics that carry a GOTS label and are therefore subject to strict standards for ecological and social criteria at all stages of processing. These fabrics are always made from organic fibers and additives, such as dyes, must be biodegradable. All other materials meet at least Oekotex standards and are compliant with the EU directives for toy safety. I use as little plastic as possible in my packaging.

    • COZY FROM HEAD TO TOE:


      Even as a child, it bothered me when my lovely, soft cuddly toy had a scratchy brand tag. That's why I don't use sewn-in tags with TEDDYFELD. Instead, your new friend comes with a separate certificate of authenticity. TEDDYFELD animals are therefore also suitable for people with sensitive senses.

    • A FRIEND FOR EVERYONE:


      I don't believe that curly toys are just for children. Adults also need a fluffy companion that suits them. That's why TEDDYFELD animals are made for everyone.
